Hello Loyal Laughers,
Over the weekend I skipped town to get outdoors and change up my scenery. I’ve been pondering so much lately on the beauty of the world as the season in Idaho is changing and emerging from the chilly bite of winter. The cold, brown and gray earth begins to plump and bloom into life with rich foliage thanks to the alternating wetness of spring showers and bright sunshine.
I truly appreciate all the seasons, and how they transform the landscape and shift the types of activities and celebrations we take part in throughout the year.
The cycle of rest, renewal, and refreshment remind me of the necessity of transitional seasons of life we experience, particularly as we emerge out of rough patch.
And, just like an improvised scene on stage, each element; every high and low or emotional influence, every wacky audience suggestion we are slung during the show, and all the vibrant diversity in plotlines that unfold become a valuable part of the experience.
Nature doesn’t hesitate to grow into what it is destined to be, and as you take an adventure outdoors, you see that nature works in harmony with its surroundings, not in competition. Streams and trees and flowers and bugs are all PARTICIPATING FULLY in their life-cycles without question.
Instead of trying to force particular outcomes, trust that as long as you remain present in the moment and participate with your best effort each day, that it will be a story you can look back on with fondness, and look forward to new milestones.
Thrive in your space, while allowing and encouraging others to grow and thrive in their own space.
Let yourself FULLY participate in each season of your life so that you can work through conflicts swiftly and positively, and allow the performance of YOUR LIFE to be an invigorating experience that can complement others in your sphere.
Cheers to Happier, Healthier Human Connections through Humor,
Megan McCaleb
