Business Improv Workshops And Trainings For Businesses Of All Sizes

The Comedy Business

Hello Loyal-Laughers,

Remember being a kid and having confidence and enthusiasm about what you were going to BE when you grew up? Children have this magical way about them. They just want to be who they are and do what they want to do until the world they grow up in and the people and things in that world influence their opinions on what is possible.

Many people grow up, get a “Job” and treat anything in the creative realm: arts, performance, music, as a”hobby.” Why can’t it be both?

Well, it can, and it takes the same hard work, consistency, and mindfulness as any other entrepreneurial journey.

When I first started improv and stand-up, I had a corporate career in banking. Deep inside (and maybe a little bit out loud) I had the dream of turning that hobby into my full time JOBBY, and established my business entity in 2010 with the intentions of building the groundwork to build on in the years to come.

I’ve enjoyed some periods of time functioning solely on my craft of comedy as employment, and other times still do the juggling act of motherhood, day job, and self-employment.

I’ve been grateful during the past couple of years to work with the Idaho Women’s Business Center, a place where dreams turn into businesses, and those businesses support families and households all over the state.

As the Director of Communications and Connections, I have had the privilege to help grow the program from its fledgling stages and orchestrate the events and online presence to help women-owned businesses know they have support. They do not have to do it alone. None of us do!

Please connect with the Idaho Women’s Business Center if you are a small business owner or WANT to become one, no matter the industry type. There is education, powerful resources for growth, and mentorship opportunities to help your PASSION become your INCOME.
